Description

A latex agglutination slide test for the qualitative and semiquantitative determination of rheumatoid factor in serum. A suspension of latex particles is coated with human immunoglobulin. In the presence of rheumatoid factor in serum at levels greater than 10IU/mL, the coated latex particles will agglutinate, allowing visual observation of the antigen-antibody reaction.Sure-Vue RF latex can be used to both screen for levels of RF in serum greater than 10IU/mL and determine titers of RF in serum in IU/mL using the semi-quantitative technique. Results are available in two minutes. Test kit includes latex reagent, disposable slides (six-well), prediluted positive and negative controls.
